Bajaj Group’s financial services arm Bajaj Finserv (BSE:532978) reported over three-fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 106.78 crore (US$23.58 million), for the quarter ended December 31, over the same period last year.
The company had a net profit of Rs 34.86 crore in October-December quarter last fiscal year, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The total income of the company rose to Rs 529.57 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal year compared to Rs 119.25 crore in the corresponding period.
Bajaj Finserv is a holding company, which operates through its subsidiaries and joint ventures. Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Bajaj Allianz life insurance and Bajaj Finance Limited are its subsidiaries.
