Insurers remain dull at KSE last week

Insurance stocks followed the overall trend of dull activities at the Karachi stock exchange last week as just 4.81 million shares traded together in life and non-life insurance sectors.

Pak reinsurance was the volume leader with 2.55 million followed by Adamjee Insurance with 1.88 million shares.

Top gainers include American life insurance which grew by Rs. 1.85 to close at Rs. 17.35 and Askari General Insurance was up by Rs. 0.95 to close at Rs. 10.50 while Adamjee Insurance lost Rs. 4.36 to close at Rs. 79.69 and EFU Life Assurance was down by Rs. 4.06 to close at Rs. 76.04 to be the major losers of the week.
