Getaways Give Mickie Beyer Relief From Her Hectic Schedule Overseeing Community Clinics
Michael Ann “Mickie” Beyer, now well-established in her third career, is still preoccupied with work and upholding a family tradition.
On a recent Monday morning, however, the CEO of the Council of Community Clinics in San Diego, is able to tackle health care issues more easily, considering she had just arrived at the office from her weekend getaway in the desert.
“It was wonderful to unwind,” Beyer says of the just-concluded trip while interrupting back-to-back meetings to return a reporter’s phone call.
Her work days were crowded during her 16-year career at San Diego Gas
